BMW R1150 RT with BMW M3 motor
210.213 km/h is the Worldwide velocity record at land reached in the Salty Plains of Bonneville by the “Die Moto”. The BMW R1150 RT motorcycle has among other things a 2 liters cc diesel motor coupled from a BMW series 3 and coated with a streamlined aluminum-diamond color that reminds the first race-motorcycles.
The record has been obtained using a fuel not originating from oil, in particular the B100 Bio Diesel of Greenline Industries. The benefits are not against with the environmental respect and that is completely proved. Michael Sturtz, pilot and maximum person in charge of the project, look forward to surpass the 260 km/h in the next attempt.
