Today I’ve seen the L’Illa Diagonal Yamaha Scooter model at the shopping mall. They had 2 different models in different colors and a beautiful girl that I am not sure if she understand a single thing about motorcycles, but it was the hottest thing that I’ve ever seen.

The Maxi Scooter was presented at the Milan Auto Show in the 2006 and now comes to complete the gama of Japanese Scooters.

They lent a particular attention to the ergonomics in order that the pilots of different sizes can have easy access to the motorcycle and allow to lean the feet in the ground without difficulty.

Motor:
The new X-City is boosted by a silent and ecological 4T of 249 cc motor and liquid refrigeration. The maximum torque is 15,6 Kw and reaches 7,500 rpms while the maximum torque is 21,5 Nm just to 5,800 rpm for the better acceleration. This new motor has been put on sale to offer the maximum torque motor at the lower regimen than any other Maxi Scooter of Yamaha.

The passenger’s comfort was very well taken care of. The luxurious double level seat and the grips in combination with the aluminum foot pegs make the X-City ideal for the use in couples. The escape belongs to lower noise emission and the CTV transmission ( constant automatic transmission ).

We have a compartment below the seat specially-designed to accept a small case or a helmet. Also have a glove compartment and a hook to transport little bags.

Tall wheels with bulk pneumatics.
One of the most significant characteristics of the new X City is the diameter of its wheels, with 16 in front and 15 behind, a combination of tall wheel used for the first time in a maxi Yamaha scooter.

These great diameter tires in light aluminum of 6 arms are equipped with 120/70-16 pneumatic tires of wide section in front and 140/70-15 behind, a combination that offers an excellent performance over a great variety of surfaces.

Rides a disc brake of 270 mm in front and 240 mm back.
