Kawasaki has followed the success stele gotten with their ER 6 model. The Japanese brand doesn’t move away from the simple and practical. If the thing is working why they have to change? The Versys is a new proposition that will seduce us. Versatile motors so much for the city as well as for the highways. We didn’t mention the off roads because the wheels and braking systems doesn’t allow taking a risk for earthen lots. We cannot define it as a Roadster, is more than just a trail thought for city and asphalt.

In the Versys everything has gotten better if we compare it with the ER-6 .

For example, the changes accomplished in the suspension allow ample adjustments.

The inverted front fork has a traversal 20mm more than his predecessor. At the back inaugurates an oscillating asymmetric aluminum arm that triggers the shock absorber that offers 30mm more of race. The reinforcement of the back part of the chassis allows charging with baggage, while the distance between the wheels has increased lightly.

The height of the seat has been increased in more than 800 mm, which is why if you measure less than 170 cm you will have difficulty feeling comfortable or to set down your feet on the motorcycle.

El motor

The motor preserves the ER-6 essence but now has better low reactions at half and medium regimen. The modifications accomplished in the injection and discharge escape make loose CV of potency but gets that the motorcycle awakes at low revolutions.

This bi-cylindrical motor responds without jerks as from the 2,000 rpm and the functioning is elastic among the 4,000 and 8,000 rpm what allows us driving without having to make use of the gearbox at every moment.

The improvements and the equipment optimized for displacements for the roads and highways justify their price of 7,399 euros.
